Objective

Consulting solution(s), working Remotely, from Business Discovery Phase to delivering bespoke Web based solutions based on Blazor.

Involves technical, business, management, sales and all phases from start of engagement with the customer to delivering, deploying working solutions and if needed maintenance.

Blazor is an open source technology from Microsoft that enables the next-generation, cutting edge of web based solutions.

For Blazor based holistic business solutions for which there are no commoditized solutions my minimum asking consulting/contracting/freelancing hourly rate is Rs. 7500 per Hour (USD 100 per Hour @Rs.75/USD). Past calculation details can be seen in the Work Experience Details section.
For commoditized business solutions of any kind there is no minimum asking consulting/contracting/freelancing hourly rate and is open to negotiation. Will do due diligence business analysis and come up with a base quote and renegotiate if necessary.
I am only interested in working remotely (telecommuting). Willing to come to customers premises as and when a genuine need arises to be physically present.

- Got some basic Canvas Control Library (CCL) ported to Blazor. Porting on a as need basis for controls that would lend themselves to drawing and would be hard to implement with HTML and CSS. Have requested Microsoft Blazor team to provide first class support to HTML Canvas Element API in C# without having to use JsInterop, which is what I am using right now.
- Producing quality Graphics Artist level art with GIMP (Graphical Image Manipulation Program). The background for this online Resume was produced by myself with GIMP (Graphical Image Manipulation Program). All the HTML/CSS/Bootstrap was hand coded by myself in Visual Studio 2019.
- Got a fully functional Blazor Server-side demo fetching playlists+songs from Spotify Web API for Developers. Includes Spotify Authentication.

- Managed various freelancer(s) paying them to make 3D Models and clean up existing 3D Models.
- Made a Drawing Application with complex math algorithms, of my own invention, in Javascript using HTML Canvas Element API . Made videos in Camtasia to use this code to demonstrate and teach drawing on the HTML Canvas Element API . Also to teach how to take math, geometry, and make it useful for drawing. Abandoned work:
- Tried to create a product using my invention Canvas Control Library which would be a consolidate DBA (Database Administration) management console for all major databases. I have given away this obsolete code now for free at: Database Commander
- This was done in 2015 when I was using it to prove SPA (Single Page Application) capability for Cognizant. I did this at home on my own computer in my own spare time. So code belongs to me. I am now giving it away for free at: Car Dealership

- In 2017 my dad had a lot of pictures. He had his favourite pictures that he wanted in a particular order of his liking. Special Project
Enabled project to deliver complex graphs/charts, which they were failing to deliver. I coded all the charts required for the reports from scratch single handedly in C#, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation). Made each type of chart configurable and taught the team how to use it via C#. Was able to do this very quickly because of experience doing Canvas Control Library (CCL) controls in Javascript in 2012. The charts would be inserted via C# code into the SAP Crystal Reports Image element. The SAP Crystal Reports report's were being dynamically created via C# code.

The project was to create a product level software application for Zoetis (Animal Health) to enable them to better test animals for diseases. Complex business requirements requiring myself and other senior architects to do coding.

Demonstrated my strong Math, Geometry, skills translated into writing custom algorithm's in C#, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), .NET Graphics API, for all client requested charts and graphs. Prior to this I did not have the opportunity and hence need to code Graphics in C#. Picked up how to do graphics in C# and did it very quickly.

Special Project
Thought about the idea to create an iPad/iPhone Universal App that would use the FreeTDS C library to talk natively to Microsoft SQL Server. The source code for this obsolete old App is in my GitHub at SQL Server DBCommander.

Did Market Research of competitor's App's and found everyone was using Web Services to communicate from IPad/IPhone to Microsoft SQL Server. Web Services require an additional Middleware to be installed on a Web Server. My idea would bypass the need for this Middleware and hence I had a Unique Selling Point (USP).

Did my budgeting and found I could afford a Mac Mini. I quickly familiarized myself with the OSX interface. Since OSX is like UNIX/Linux I did not have much trouble and used the terminal application. Then I went about learning Objective-C and XCode (IDE - Integrated Development Environment).

Went through the entire process alone from scratch to Microsoft SQL Server DB Commander in the Apple App Store. I set the price to USD 1 which was INR/Rs. 60.

By this time I got a job again and did not do the required Online Marketing so the App did not sell much.

As part of the Apple App Review process I was asked by the reviewer to send a video demonstrating how to use SQL Server DB Commander. This video that I made is still on YouTube.

SQL Server DB Commander is no longer on the Apple App Store as I did not renew my Apple Developer Subscription as it was expensive for me at USD 99 a year.
Came up with a concept for a simple 2D game. I went through the whole process, from scratch to finish, on my own and put Eleczon, a Sprite Kit based 2D game for iPad/iPhone Universal App, into the Apple App Store.

Again this no longer exists on the Apple App Store as I did not renew my Apple Developer Subscription due to my economic constraints. However, as this old App is obsolete I have released my source code in my GitHub Eleczon.

Created Canvas Control Library based on my become aware of the Canvas element in HTML and understood the potential for it and created a new system of coding websites with both front-end Javascript and back-end C#. Also ported in under a couple of person days all 10K++ lines of back-end C# code to PHP and Java (JSP - Java Server Pages) with no knowledge of either PHP scripting and zero experience knowledge of Java based on my understanding on the high-level concepts of how programming languages, compilers, etc. work.
Created jQuery plug-in version of Canvas Control Library .
Exploring Three.js programming complex 3D animation using models made in 3D Modeling software such as Maya/ Blender in Web Browser. This is continuation of efforts on the WebGL capability for browser based 3D software.
Did research and started up project involving showcase usage of Microsoft Kinect based application for TCS Microsoft CoE (Center of Excellence). Project was cancelled due to no budget to procure the Microsoft Kinect hardware/device.
XNA GameStudio 4.0 DirectX 3D programming for demo of capabilities. Demo was a movie playing on a 3D planar surface which is rotating and translating in 3D space while audio is playing.
Worked on redoing the interface for Sharepoint based Manufacturing 2.0 BI (Business Intelligence) portal including making Sharepoint Web Parts for charts/graphs etc.

Onsite visit to fix a stalled Global Sharepoint deployment for GM at GM World HQ Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Problem was political and not technical. Solved all the political issues with minimal effort. Set the project back in motion which required me getting IT Director in charge to make a decision of my choice which I got him to make on his own. Project and new account was saved and back on track.
Picked up Sharepoint and delivered full solutions including other dependent systems to get it working Sharepoint Installation/Deployment, AD (Active Directory), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), ASP.NET, Web Parts, etc.
Microsoft had donated a touch screen Notebook to the Microsoft CoE (Center of Excellence). The point was to TCS to develop capability for multi-touch capabilities to deliver solutions to clients. This was abandoned by the team and I picked it up when I joined figured it out. Built C# based solution app for cell phone store. The project was transferred from me before fully developed to another team member.
A need for a Silverlight Map Control for Sharepoint emerged. Figured out how to make Silverlight Sharepoint Web Parts. I picked it up and figured out and delivered it from scratch to production/deployment level Map Control.
Worked on an Automated Testing Tool which was an internal TCS Tool. Figured out how to control SAP GUI using C#. Wrote Java client side sockets to communicate to the C# server side that automated test cases for SAP.
Created training material in the form of presentations for C# and Javascript. Got approval from TCS Training Group and conducted C# training sessions. Conducted meeting based Training sessions for other group team members on Javascript.
Was asked to do research on SOA (Service-oriented Architecture). Got into all the specifications of Security specific to WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), WS-*, Identity Management, etc. Created document covering all my research on these subjects and handed it over.

Decided to make an IPhone 2D fantasy RPG video game. Purchased Mac Mini and IPhone 3G. Learned how to use the Mac OSX, Objective-C and XCode IDE (Integrated Development Environment). Hired via Freelancer.com a team of two women from Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. One was the drawing artist other lady was making Maya 3D models based on the 2D hand draw artwork. Managed them to deliver the graphic fantasy assets. Worked with them remotely from selecting them to delivery and closure of project. Figured out Maya Mel Script to automate ripping 3D Maya binary models to 2D images in the various orientations (N,NE,NW,E,W,S,SW,SE). Coded by myself the game and got it working on IPhone 3g. Made my own movement touch controller control and buttons with custom code. Abandonded project when I got a job and salary. As I no longer needed the money from the goal of commercializing this project.
Decided to make a 3D fantasy RPG video game for Windows. Picked up XNA Game Studio and programmed/coded basic working C# code to display model with animation. Had a lot of problems with 3D artifacts when model was moved and animating. Could not resolve this so abandoned the project. Here is my source code/project on GitHub Srinokan Dreams.

Member of the Microsoft CoE (Center of Excellence). Implemented the stored procedure test case from DBCompare in Windows Forms and integrated into an existing TCS tool in C# .NET. Designed web parts (including ones using treeview web control) for Windows Sharepoint Services in C#. Deployed a portal for Windows Sharepoint Services.
Analysis phase of a web based application for a utility company, Onsite consulting, NGC (National Grid Corporation) London, U.K. to track their suppliers and consumers of electricity.
Migration of Sybase 11.x database to Microsoft SQL Server 2000 was being done manually. This involved porting 175 tables, 60 defaults, 5 views, 51 stored procedures, 350 permissions, 4 roles, and 50 users. Migrating 4GB of data using DTS (Data Transformation Services). Testing of all schema and data to verify the success of the port. I created a Microsoft Visual Basic based application I called DBCompare to automate this whole process. It would connect to both Microsoft SQL Server on Windows Server and Sybase on UNIX using FreeTDS from a Windows Workstatation and compare whatever the developer had chosen to compare. More than 10 different compare operation types was provided by DBCompare. From simplest row count match to very complex such as when there is redundant rows ensure that they are copied out as well as full compare of all data per column per row match between both databases. Done for Merrill Lynch in London.
Onsite Program Manager for GEF&S and ACT projects in Merrill Lynch Farringdon, London, U.K. This involved tracking projects and ensuring deliverables for all projects in these areas. This was an onsite assignment in London, U.K.
Posted as trainer for GUI Design Concepts at Corporate Training Center, Trivandrum, Kerala.
Successfully made a project proposal and got the resulting business for GE (General Electric) involving a trip, Onsite, to the client in Connecticut, USA.
Special Project Proposed, designed and implemented a Document Management System using ASP (Active Server Pages) and MSDE (Microsoft SQL Server Express) for the backend using Notepad and Internet Explorer. Allowed tracking of all Knowledge Assets in the form of documents or links. This was used as the backbone for Knowledge dissemination for the GE (General Electric) Linux CoE. It was later adopted by all CoE's.
I tried the traditional way of you click on a node in the tree and it will query the database and fetch the child node(s) and display the information. The website was unresponsive so I thought about my own way of doing it.
Because of the low computing power and memory of my desktop and the majority of employees who were using my document management site I invented an algorithm that would very quickly display in a tree HTML/text structure with Javascript Expand/Collapse and GIMP custom made images by myself. The algorithm is now public facing as of 2006 and is documented in the following article:

A business decision to abstract hardcoded information in the Claims Information code and change it into a random computer generated ID resulted in a need to recode the entire mission critical system.

The original system was a bunch of BP (Business Process) statuses associated with each claim with information data associated with each step of the process while it went from department to department. This gave me an idea that instead of coding each status, step in the BP, as one form per step I would abstract the whole thing to becoming into a configurable product level piece of software.

Today this is known as Workflow Systems.

I then approached business executives and got their approval to make a proposal. I made the proposal which was passed by the Committee in charge of the changes to the mission critical system.

I then coded the whole system. It was also integrated into another system which was a shell system to include all software systems in use by the company. Made sure the new design of my system used all the features available and complied with requirements to work with the shell system.

The system was delivered. My contract ended. I then trained my replacement, an employee of the company, to take over my code.

For the new system I did the Oracle 8.x database design and implementation including stored procedures in PL/SQL.

Work Ethic

When I am coding or designing a software system or architecting a solution, I think of the holistic business and all stakeholders when doing so. I prefer to understand and not just memorize and use. I prefer to use my creativity, my strength, to come up with my unique solutions.
Most people in the industry copy-paste code. I prefer to understand the system via the code example and then write unique code on my own. I make unique images on my own and will not directly download and use any image from the internet without modifying it unless it is a logo. I author all my images with GIMP (Graphical Image Manipulation Program) and demand unique artwork from colleagues I work with who are graphic artists.
Everything I have done has been self-taught throughout my career as I can quickly understand software, hardware and networking IT systems since childhood on my own.
I am very passionate about software. In 1983 I got a programmable calculator called the Sharp PC1500. It came with the Basic programming language and a slim manual that listed out the supported words of the Basic programming language. Nobody I knew was familiar with programming. Figuring out how to make video games on my own, I knew these small machines were the future. One could easily create any of your ideas on these machines with the greatest of ease. I was advised by my father to do Electrical Engineering since there were not many jobs for programming. I knew it was a matter of time before there would be. I turned out to be right. Since then, I have pursued making creative software, whether I can monetize or be rewarded in any way or not. I always name my computers after fantasy characters like one would call a pet one loves. Since I love software, I do my best on my own always with or without supervision or direction.
